Dear David (or hero339 if you prefer),
it was love at first sight when I first found one of your maps, and your gallery is chock full of skillfully made and creative maps and settings.
Keep up the good work, and I'll make sure all of my friends know of you and your works.
Thank you for these wonderful pieces, you gave a new life to my own campaign. :-)

May your hands keep strong enough so they'll stay on your arms and keep working then!
Looking forward for future masterpieces.

Brilliant maps!!  I just stumbled upon these, having already run Books 1-4!!  I'm dying to know if you have worked all the way through Age of Worms- my group's collective jaws would drop if I start dropping your work into their sessions!

Hey thank you so much! I'm not all the way through yet, but totally committed to finish.

I'm in chapter 5 now (one map still missing due to my full time map making career) but I have 6 and 7 done. I've done work on 8 and have 9 waiting in the wings. So as long as youre not playing super fast, you could stick with me until the end.

It such a fun campaign! Love to hear about your campaign so far. Thanks again for the the nice comment.

Unreal how cool this happenstance has been today!  It's my first foray into Play-by-Post on Paizo- started up December 2014, and about to close out Book 4.  Your maps are stellar, sir, stellar.  For the slowness of the gameplay (2 years for 4 books :) ), I think you've got a constant fan here.  Quick rundown, since you inquired- I based Age of Worms in Cheliax, so Book 4 found the party in Egorian, where I'm also basing Book 5.  Since it's Asmodean country, I'm locating the Arena (calling it the Catafalque) under Thrune Square itself, and calling the Champion Games the Gauntlet of Asmodeus.  The Champion's Belt is now the Hellfire Belt.  I started with 6 players, 2 of which dropped out due to RealLife, so I brought on 2 more, 1 of whom succumbed to RL, again. Book 5 sees the joining of another player, and we're set for some time now.  3 players from California, 2 in Illinois, and now 1 in Barcelona.  The campaign has been brutal, but the players are having a blast- I just need to pull out more roleplaying out of a couple of them.

I'm stoked, but moreso, now that I can bring your maps to the game.  I'm also completely new to DeviantArt, so if there is any way that I can support your mapmaking skill, please let me know, good man.

Governayle,
It sounds like you have a great game going. And YES, Age of Worms is so damn brutal. I have a team of 2 rogues (twin brothers in real life who are uncanny in their teamwork ability), an alchemist with a ton of hit points, and a ranger/rogue combo that's deadly against undead. We lost our sorcerer to the mind flayer at the end of Chapter 4. As of right now, the team is heading into the second battle in the arena. Should be a fun grudge match.

There is only one map left in Chapter 5 (the huge level of guard posts, zoo, etc. just above the Coenby) but since our characters are so busy with the caves and the shrine I haven't made that level. I hope to get to it some day, but with the amount of work I have going on it will have to be "need only" basis. As you have seen, I already have Chapter 6 here on DeviantArt and I think all of Chapter 7. I'll load of Chapter 8 at some point too.

Thanks for the nice comments. Two months ago I quit my career in the news business to make maps full time as my own boss. So if you wanna check out my work at the Roll20 Marketplace, tell your pals ... my maps there are fairly inexpensive but still have all the detail you expect.

Hi Dave I have a website I am thinking of putting together for RPG related artists like yourself.  I would like your opinion on if you think it would be worth building it or not.   If you are interested in sharing your opinion would you shoot me an email to natecotton@gmail.com so I can send you the details?   If not, thanks anyways for all your awesome work and have a good one!
