Kabarakh Map by hero339 Kabarakh Map by hero339
This is yet another map for a friends D&D campaign. I also designed the logo on the top.

I love the color choices and map icons.  One weird thing though.  The water channel running northeast from Port Twilight cuts all the way through to the ocean on the other side of the continent.  Is this a huge canal?  If so, badass!  There must be a neat story behind it.  If it's meant to be a river, natural rivers always come together downstream and only flow upstream, except when they form deltas, which are just one big super-shallow river with big sandbars.  Artificial rivers can split downstream, but to go from one ocean to another you would need locks and dams to keep the water from flowing out completely in one direction or the other.
Since it's D&D, I'm going to imagine an enormous clan of mercantile canal dwarves, who built the huge canal to encourage trade between the north and south...

I love, love, love the icebergs in the far south.  I kind of want to steal it for my map.

Thanks so much for checking out the map. I think I did this one about 8 years ago, so don't remember a lot about it.
I don't know a whole lot about the geography as I was working off a sketch from the DM. My guess was that it was a series of connecting rivers. I like your theory on the connecting waterways though. :)
